After COVID-19 canceled last year’s prom, students at Coal City High School are ready to dance again.
The annual spring formal will look a bit different this year as there will be no in-person viewing of the fancy formal wear, no buses filled with excited students heading off to a banquet facility or even a post prom party, but there will be a prom and dancing—socially distanced—is allowed.
“No slow songs at this prom,” Spencer said.
The official school sponsored prom is set for Saturday, May 8 from 6-9 p.m. at the high school.
