There will be baseball played at the middle school level after all as 56 players showed up at the Coal City High School baseball and softball fields with their gloves on, ready to play ball.
“I would think total it’s probably right there in the ballpark of the most we’ve ever had come out,” said sixth grade coach Greg Wills. “I think it is definitely the most sixth graders we’ve ever had out.”
