Coal City running back Ashton Harvey was a one man wrecking crew on Friday, leading the Coalers to a 24-12 victory over Lisle.
He was a workhorse on offense, carrying the load with 216 yards with two touchdowns. Harvey was also effective on defense, collecting 18 tackles, four of which were for a loss.
“It feels great,” said Harvey. “Our o-line we were putting stuff together and starting to block. It’s a lot easier when they can get their block and I can get to the outside.”
